Participants should stay at any hotel within a 1 mile from IM USA transition area at Mirror Lake/the Olympic Oval. For purposes of getting directions in Mapquest or using GPS systems, use the address of the High School: 34 School St. Lake Placid NY, 12946 This is where the Olympic Oval is and from there it is a short walk to Mirror Lake. Some camp meetings and training sessions are held at the Courtyard by Marriot Lake Placid Hotel; some training sessions begin at the lifeguard station at Mirror Lake, at the start of the Ironman USA race. |
